Unfortunetly my corporate network still deploy Exchange Server 2003 SP2. After update to ICS I have the following problem:

1. Cannot view "Sent Items" in email.
2. Settings/Account & sync/Exchange ActiveSync/Account setings - Changed "Download past mail" to 30 days, "Mail size limit" to Maximum size and "Sync events for past" to 6 months. The settings will not save and eventually revert back to defaults.
The settings show an error "Error occoured on the computer running the Excahnge server"
Have tried same on Exchange 2010 server and all works well. Have also tried alternative account on Excahge 2003 server and same problem exists. We have also noticed same issue on Desire S users with build 2.10.161.3.
Have tried your suggested fix and unfortunetly probledm still exists.

Weird, I have tried this several times and it hasn't worked. Tried again as I am at the end of my Touchdown trial and it works. Strange.

Yeah, the lazy loading probably improves performance considerably. I just haven't been willing to invest the time required at this point. Your experience with it gives me hope and might encourage me to do the upgrade sooner rather than later.

I recently did migrate a (sizable) project from 1.3.8 to 2.1.0 and it costed me a full weekend, but that's it. The bundled "upgrade shell" does a decent job if you haven't been using custom behaviors and helpers (or aftermarket parts, as I call them).

I used the shell to upgrade and then hand-picked most of the items to drop in a fresh installation, refactoring all the way by looking at the migration guide. Two days of that and I ended up in a code base without any severe regression bugs.

That being said, the performance of 2.1.0 made it worth every bit of effort I put in. Version 2.x has improved the framework significantly.

Nice. Have you upgraded your projects from 1.3x? Assuming, of course, that you had any that were created in 1.3.x. If so, did you have any issues? Was it a huge headache? I've been avoiding it, but have been giving it more consideration now that 2.x has matured a bit.

I'm not sure if the problem you're facing is related to my post. Did this issue start after 2.3.5?

Having asked that, it looks like the sync is working on your phone properly. The mail client on your Mac/PC might have a local cache, which doesn't sync back properly. What protocol are you using on Mac/PC? Exchange/POP3/IMAP?

Hi, I tried this but still have no proper sync. Emails managed on my Macs and PCs do not sync with the phone. Emails deleted from my phone, do delete on the server.

Very confused.

Do you have any further thoughts?

HostGator is quite clear on this point: they don't allow "data storage" on their shared packages, and they consider CVSes (SVN, Git, etc.) as "data storage" implementations.

Shame, too, as I need this and am thinking about moving to a shared-host provider that permits this.

Just an FYI, this is against the TOS of a shared-server HostGator setup.

Thanks for the fix. I used this to compile PHP 5.3.9 --with-iconv (and GD etc) on Mac OS X Lion.

Two fixes, $HOME doesnt work for me, i had to expand the path at exec step [0]
I guess hostgator uses python 2.4 now, so this link should be fixed too

[0] exec $HOME/packages/share/trac/cgi-bin/trac.cgi

Now after setting up everything, svn will still be accessible to one user, over svn+ssh, any workarounds for this ?

Hi Alex. I am a partner of Leendert. Try to use the script but the command line returns "PHP Warning: file_put_contents() expects at least 2 parameters, 1 given in line x ($dm line)
So i've tried the $dm als new data to put in the file. ... file_put_contents( '/path/to/new/doku/markup/file',$dm );
But the new file is now empty. Whats wrong in the script
You will have noticed i am not a php developer. If possible any help would be appreciated.

Since it's a PHP class, you'd need PHP installed (http://php.net/downloads.php). You can then have a small PHP snippet that calls this class to convert, for example.

// convert.php
< ?php
require_once( 'trac_wiki2_doku_wiki.php' );

$tm = file_get_contents( '/path/to/your/trac/markup/file' );

$o = new TracWiki2DokuWiki();
$dm = $o->convert( $tm );

file_put_contents( '/path/to/new/doku/markup/file' );
?>

and then you can run it with php's command line interpreter, like:

$ php convert.php

Hey, Sumeet.

This could be handy when you dump a repository and reload it at a different location. Since SVN clients do verify the repository UUID (which is stored at both sides) on check-in/check-out, you can't use the svn relocate command to re-point your working copy to the new repository, unless you have the right UUID. One of the above described techniques should save you on that day!
